La Junta de Govern de l&#8217;ICIP avaluar\u00e0 les candidatures registrades i emetr\u00e0 el seu veredicte el proper mes de setembre, concretament el dia 21, coincidint amb la commemoraci\u00f3 del Dia Internacional de la Pau.<br \/>\nEl Premi ICIP es convoca anualment i t\u00e9 per objectiu guardonar i recon\u00e8ixer p\u00fablicament persones, entitats o institucions que han treballat i han contribu\u00eft d&#8217;una manera destacada i dilatada en el foment i la construcci\u00f3 de la pau. El guard\u00f3 consisteix en un reconeixement p\u00fablic, una escultura creada pel Premi Nobel de la Pau, artista i activista Adolfo P\u00e9rez Esquivel, anomenada Porta del Sol, i una dotaci\u00f3 econ\u00f2mica de 6.000 euros.<br \/>\nAnteriors guardonats<br \/>\nEn anteriors edicions han estat guardonats amb el Premi ICIP Constructors de Pau l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 mexicana Cauce Ciudadano (2018), l&#8217;activista Arcadi Oliveres (2017), l&#8217;ONG Brigades Internacionals de Pau (2016), el pare caputx\u00ed Joan Botam (2015), l&#8217;organitzaci\u00f3 WILPF (2014), l&#8217;exgeneral Jovan Divjak (2013), les Mares de Soacha (2012), i la lluita d&#8217;objectors i insubmisos simbolitzats en Pepe Be\u00fanza (2011).
