With a regime clinging to power, a weakened opposition, and a population still suffering the consequences of the conflict, the key question is: what does the future hold for Syria?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To reflect on the current situation and possible paths to peace, ICIP is organizing the session <em>&#8220;Syria, 14 Years Later: Resistance, Hope, and Prospects for Peace,&#8221;<\/em> a conversation between journalist <strong>Oriol Andr\u00e9s<\/strong>, author of <em>Syria, the Faces of the Revolution<\/em>, and Syrian activist and historian <strong>Nour Salameh<\/strong>, a member of ICIP\u2019s Governing Board. The discussion will be moderated by <strong>Lurdes Vidal<\/strong>, a professor of International Relations and an expert in Arab politics, who has also recently joined the ICIP Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event aims to provide an informed perspective on the resilience of Syrian civil society, hopes for change, and possible ways out of the conflict.
