That is why our way of working is grounded in clear principles that guide both what we do and how we do it.<\/p><p data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"587\">We place at the centre the people and communities most affected by injustice, we promote dialogue and alliances among diverse actors, and we act with a transformative vision, rooted in care and public responsibility. This approach is the guiding thread of all our actions, both in Catalonia and internationally.<\/p><p data-start=\"203\" data-end=\"762\">\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-50b8f4d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"50b8f4d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Our guiding principles<\/h1>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c7956e0 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"c7956e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aca6de8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"aca6de8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>1 &#8211; We place victims and marginalised groups at the centre<\/h3><p>Those who suffer most from injustice must be able to play a leading role in preventing fresh injustice within a framework of respect for human rights.<\/p><article><h3>2 &#8211; We act with care in our relationships<\/h3><p>Our working methods must be consistent with our aims. One way to achieve this consistency is to place care at the centre of our internal and external relationships with the actors we work with.<\/p><\/article><article><h3>3 &#8211; We promote dialogue between people and organisations with different perspectives<\/h3><p>A focus on dialogue requires what we call \u201cattitudes of social care\u201d: curiosity to understand the reasons of those who think differently; respect for all people, regardless of their positions; and critical self-analysis, as nobody can claim the absolute truth.<\/p><\/article><article><h3>4 &#8211; We act to achieve change at the local and global level<\/h3><p>The challenges to building peace are global, but individual expression is needed within each context. We must demonstrate fairness and solidarity worldwide while remaining consistent to transform our society.<\/p><\/article><article><h3>5 &#8211; We foster critical thinking, innovation and creative tension<\/h3><p>We must leave our comfort zone, ask questions, establish relationships that may be uncomfortable, and find new perspectives and answers.<\/p><\/article><article><h3>6 &#8211; We are inspired by the perspectives of feminism, environmentalism, decolonialism and the defence of human rights<\/h3><p>We share the need to transform unjust power relations.\u00a0<\/p><\/article><article><h3>7 &#8211; We forge alliances and promote participation with and among social, institutional, academic and cultural actors<\/h3><p>The transformation we seek is inclusive, plural and radical.
