{"id":6547,"date":"2019-01-10T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icip.cat\/parliament-elects-four-members-of-the-icip-board-of-governors\/"},"modified":"2019-01-10T08:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T08:00:00","slug":"parliament-elects-four-members-of-the-icip-board-of-governors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.icip.cat\/en\/parliament-elects-four-members-of-the-icip-board-of-governors\/","title":{"rendered":"Parliament elects four members of the ICIP Board of Governors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday 9 October, the plenary of the Parliament appointed four new members to the ICIP Board of Governors from the eight candidates presented by the Catalan Council for the Promotion of Peace.<br \/>\nAs a result, Gemma Casal, anthropologist and lecturer at the University of Lleida, and Marco Aparicio, professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Girona, have joined ICIP\u2019s governing body for the first time. In addition, journalist Carme Colomina renewed her mandate and lawyer Magda Oranich will continue as a Board member, in this case replacing Vicent Mart\u00ednez Guzm\u00e1n, who passed away in August 2018.
