{"id":6711,"date":"2018-01-03T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-03T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icip.cat\/students-of-lauro-high-school-and-the-garraf-youth-office-win-the-second-edition-of-the-hip-hop-for-peace-contest\/"},"modified":"2018-01-03T08:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-01-03T08:00:00","slug":"students-of-lauro-high-school-and-the-garraf-youth-office-win-the-second-edition-of-the-hip-hop-for-peace-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.icip.cat\/en\/students-of-lauro-high-school-and-the-garraf-youth-office-win-the-second-edition-of-the-hip-hop-for-peace-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Students of Lauro High School and the Garraf Youth Office win the second edition of the Hip-Hop for Peace Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The jury of the second edition of the ICIP Hip-Hop for Peace Contest has announced the winners after viewing all of the entries submitted.<br \/>\nCategory 1 (Middle school, high school and vocational school students):<br \/>\n&#8211; First prize for the students of Lauro High School, in Les Franqueses del Vall\u00e8s, for the video &#8220;Requiem for a Dream&#8221;.<br \/>\n&#8211; Second prize for the students of Hug Roger III High School for the video &#8220;Res a dir, molt per criticar&#8221; (Nothing to say; A lot to criticize).<br \/>\n&#8211; El Til\u00b7ler School received an honorable mention for the video &#8220;El Rap dels Til\u00b7ler&#8221; (Til\u00b7ler Rap), for praising diversity and working on group cohesion.<br \/>\nCategory 2 (Young people between the ages of 12 and 25 from various institutions)<br \/>\n&#8211; First prize for the Garraf Youth Office for the video &#8220;Gritando al mundo&#8221; (Shouting at the world).<br \/>\n&#8211; Second prize for the Servei Giron\u00ed de Pedagogia Foundation for the video &#8220;\u00bfDe qu\u00e9 lado est\u00e1s?&#8221; (Whose side are you on?).<br \/>\n&#8211; The Alt Empord\u00e0 County Council received an honorary mention for the video &#8220;Barreras Cut\u00e1neas&#8221; (Skin barriers), for its quality and technical excellence.<br \/>\nThe awards ceremony will take place on Friday 13 April at 12:00 noon at the ICIP office. The awards consist of a masterclass given by a hip-hop professional and the recording of the winning entry at a professional recording studio.<br \/>\nThe ICIP Hip-Hop for Peace Contest aims to give visibility to the commitment and creativity of young people in the field of peace culture.
