{"id":7075,"date":"2015-01-26T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-26T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icip.cat\/ibei-and-ub-students-visit-the-icip-library\/"},"modified":"2015-01-26T08:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-01-26T08:00:00","slug":"ibei-and-ub-students-visit-the-icip-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.icip.cat\/en\/ibei-and-ub-students-visit-the-icip-library\/","title":{"rendered":"IBEI and UB Students visit the ICIP Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students of IBEI-Pompeu Fabra University\u2019s International Relations Abroad program, who are studying the subject &#8220;United Nations: International Peace and Security&#8221;, and a group of Social Education students from the University of Barcelona visited the ICIP Library on Wednesday, November 25, to learn about the library\u2019s holdings of almost 65,000 volumes (mostly books, but also audiovisual materials). The head of the library, Guifr\u00e9 Miquel, showed the center to the students and introduced them to ICIP\u2019s lines of activity.<br \/>\nThe ICIP Library is a center specializing in peace culture, security and conflict, and aims to enable and encourage the pursuit of knowledge in these areas. The library offers support to ICIP and to researchers and experts in the field of peace.
