El jueves 13 de junio ha finalizado el plazo para presentar candidaturas a la convocatoria del Premio ICIP Constructores de Paz, dotado con 6.000 euros. La Junta de Gobierno del ICIP evaluar\u00e1 las candidaturas registradas y emitir\u00e1 su veredicto el pr\u00f3ximo mes de septiembre, concretamente el d\u00eda 21, coincidiendo con la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de la Paz.
\nEl Premio ICIP se convoca anualmente con el objetivo de galardonar y reconocer p\u00fablicamente a personas, entidades o instituciones que han trabajado y han contribuido de una manera destacada y dilatada en el fomento y la construcci\u00f3n de la paz. El galard\u00f3n consiste en un reconocimiento p\u00fablico, una escultura creada por el Premio Nobel de la Paz, artista y activista Adolfo P\u00e9rez Esquivel, nombrada Puerta del Sol y una dotaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de 6.000 euros.
\nAnteriores premiados
\nEn anteriores ediciones han sido galardonados con el Premio ICIP la organizaci\u00f3n mexicana Cauce Ciudadano (2018), el activista Arcadi Oliveres (2017), la ONG Brigadas Internacionales de Paz (2016), el padre capuchino Joan Botam (2015), la organizaci\u00f3n WILPF (2014), el exgeneral Jovan Divjak (2013), las Madres de Soacha (2012), y la lucha de objetores e insumisos simbolizados en Pepe Be\u00fanza (2011). En 2011 tambi\u00e9n se reconoci\u00f3 con una edici\u00f3n extraordinaria del premio al Parlament de Catalunya.
