El galard\u00f3n se otorgar\u00e1 con car\u00e1cter anual, en una convocatoria ordinaria, y consiste en una distinci\u00f3n honor\u00edfica, un reconocimiento p\u00fablico y una escultura creada por el Premio Nobel de la Paz, activista y artista Adolfo P\u00e9rez Esquivel, llamada Puerta del Sol.<br \/>\nCandidaturas<br \/>\nEl plazo de presentaci\u00f3n de candidaturas para optar al Primer Premio ICIP estar\u00e1 abierto del 15 de septiembre al 1 de noviembre de 2011, ambos incluidos, y el galard\u00f3n se entregar\u00e1 en una cerimonia el 2012. El formulario de presentaci\u00f3n de solicitudes est\u00e1 disponible en la web del ICIP en castellano, catal\u00e1n e ingl\u00e9s. Los interesados deben presentar la solicitud en papel a las oficinas del ICIP (Avenida Diagonal 409, planta 6) y tambi\u00e9n telem\u00e1ticamente a la direcci\u00f3n icip@gencat.cat<br \/>\nPremio ICIP extraordinario<br \/>\nEn paralelo a la convocatoria ordinaria del Premio ICIP, la Junta de Gobierno del Instituto tambi\u00e9n ha acordado conceder un Premio ICIP de car\u00e1cter extraordinario en el Parlamento de Catalu\u00f1a en representar y simbolizar la continuidad y el legado de dos instituciones creadas por el pueblo de Catalu\u00f1a para hacer del ideal de paz una realidad: Pau i Treva y el Consulado de Mar.
