This webinar presents the report “Caminos hay, puentes pocos”, a critical and forward-looking analysis of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Latin America and the Caribbean, 25 years after UN Security Council Resolution 1325. The document brings together experiences, lessons learned and recommendations from a vast network of feminist organisations across the region, and is designed as a political and technical tool to guide action, advocacy and international cooperation in the years ahead.
The event, organized by the Latin American Network of Women, Peace and Security (Red LAMPS) and Red Unidas, with the support of the ICIP, will combine several formats to bring the report to life: a general presentation by the research team; a performance of the collective song “Buscando nuestra paz”, created by women from the diaspora; and an intercontinental conversation with voices from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. This dialogue space aims to explore how the peace proposal put forward by Latin American women is received globally, and what opportunities for alliances, exchange and joint action emerge in a context marked by war, militarisation and setbacks in rights.
The webinar will also offer interactive participation tools and guidance on accessing the full report and upcoming dissemination activities. Its ultimate goal is to connect local experiences with regional and global debates, to strengthen bridges between feminist movements, and to advance a transformative, people-centred peace and security agenda.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at 3:00 pm (Barcelona), with the following time zones: 8:00 am Mexico & Central America, 9:00 am Colombia – Venezuela – Ecuador, 11:00 am Southern Cone, 4:00 pm Berlin.
Attendance requires prior registration through this Zoom link.
