About Us

The International Catalan Institute for Peace is a research, dissemination and action organization created by the Parliament of Catalonia in 2007 to promote a culture of peace in Catalan society and internationally and contribute to Catalonia’s role as an agent of peace in the world.

ICIP is a public yet independent institution, with its own legal status. It aims to support public administrations, the academic world and civil society and reports to Parliament, the Government and the citizenry
