
Alternatives to Security programme
She holds a degree in Criminology from the University of Barcelona (UB), a degree in Social Education (Open University of Catalonia), and a postgraduate degree in Social Mediation and Conflict Transformation from the Ibero-American University Foundation. She also has a master’s degree in Human Rights, Democracy and Globalisation, and has specialised in vulnerable groups. She currently participates in feminist and environmental associations.
She has been working at ICIP since 2016, where she currently coordinates the “Alternatives to Security” work area. Before joining ICIP, she had worked in the areas of research and political advocacy of non-governmental organisations dealing with gender-based and racist violence. She has worked in consultancies and in the Justice Department of the Government of Catalonia, carrying out training and research tasks related to mental health, restorative justice and social reintegration. She has also been part of community mediation processes in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
