She is a researcher in the migration area at CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs). She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a degree in History and Anthropology from the University of Barcelona.
Her work focuses on the comparative study of immigration policies and discourses. She has participated in numerous research projects and, between 2021 and 2024, was the scientific coordinator of the H2020 BRIDGES project, which examined the causes and consequences of migration narratives in Europe.
She has taught at the University of Amsterdam, Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Barcelona, and currently teaches at IBEI (Barcelona Institute for International Affairs). Alongside her academic work, she is active in various media outlets and regularly collaborates with public administrations, third-sector organisations, and cultural institutions.
