The exhibition “PolsXtrems. Your gym to buff up your critical thinking” begins its tour this autumn, with Tarragona as its first stop. It can be visited from 12 November to 12 December at the Espai Jove Kesse.
In a context marked by polarisation, disinformation and the proliferation of hate speech, “PolsXtrems” invites visitors to take part in a training circuit designed to exercise critical thinking, dialogue and respect for different opinions.
Produced by ICIP and curated in collaboration with the creative studio Domestic Data Streamers, the exhibition encourages visitors to reflect on how we consume information, the impact of social media on the formation of our opinions, and how unconscious biases influence the way we interpret reality. Through interactive experiences, visitors can put their mental flexibility to the test, strengthen empathy and explore strategies for addressing toxic polarisation.
“PolsXtrems” opened in February 2026 at Palau Robert, and ICIP is promoting its touring programme throughout Catalonia with the support of the Government of Catalonia’s Department for Equality and Feminism. For its stay in Tarragona, the exhibition is supported by Tarragona City Council.
Admission to the exhibition at Espai Jove Kesse is free. It can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday afternoons, from 4.30 to 9 pm. During the mornings, the exhibition will be open to educational centres by appointment. The exhibition is complemented by an educational resource pack, and schools interested in visiting it can contact ICIP at icip@icip.cat.
