In a context marked by polarization, disinformation and the proliferation of hate speech, PolsXtrems invites visitors to enter a training circuit designed to exercise critical thinking, dialogue and respect for difference.
The exhibition encourages reflection on how we consume information, the impact of social media on the formation of our opinions, and the ways in which unconscious biases shape our interpretation of reality. Through a series of interactive experiences, visitors are invited to test their mental flexibility, strengthen their empathy and explore strategies for addressing toxic polarization.
Produced and curated by ICIP, the exhibition is part of the organisation’s Social and Political Dialogue programme, which promotes dialogue and mutual understanding as key tools for the positive transformation of conflicts. The artistic direction and exhibition design were developed by the creative studio Domestic Data Streamers.
The exhibition opened in February 2026 in Room 2 of Palau Robert, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Dissemination, and welcomed a total of 28,000 visitors during its three-month public run.

The exhibition is complemented by the debate series “Who Trains Your Mind?”, which explores the risks of disinformation, polarization and the impact of hate speech, as well as by an educational resource pack designed to encourage school visits and bring the exhibition’s themes into the classroom.
