Finance and Administration Department
Ramon Parés holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and an MBA in Business Management and Administration from EAE Business School. He has developed his professional career mainly in the Catalan public administration, in areas related to economic evaluation, budget management and public policy.
Before joining ICIP, he worked as an economist at the Departament d’Interior i Seguretat Pública (Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Security) of the Government of Catalonia. He has also held various technical positions at the Departament d’Empresa i Treball (Ministry of Business and Labour) and the Departament d’Economia i Hisenda (Ministry of Economy and Finance).
He has also complemented his training with several courses on digital tools, data analysis and the application of artificial intelligence in public administration.
Since 2026, he has been the Head of ICIP’s Economic, Financial and Personnel Area.
